Lautner Irrigation provides two liquid formula methods to manage iron stains: Prevention and Removal. Our metered injection systems automatically treat irrigation water to prevent rust from forming on concrete, stone, and siding. For existing buildup, our biodegradable removal formulas quickly dissolve orange and red stains without scrubbing or harming your surrounding plants.
Rust Removal
Eliminate tough stains without the workout. This powerful formula removes most stains with a simple spray-and-rinse application—no scrubbing required. It is completely safe for both painted and unpainted surfaces, including metal, stucco, stone, grout, asphalt, and concrete (without etching). Best of all, it is biodegradable, non-carcinogenic, and safe around surrounding grass and shrubs during normal use.
Rust Prevention
Stop rust and hard water stains before they start. This specialized system uses a metered injection pump to feed our custom-formulated Preventer solution directly from the tank into your water line. Individually tailored to match your specific iron, pH, and hardness content, the solution prevents staining on painted or unpainted surfaces, metal, stucco, concrete, stone, grout, and asphalt without etching masonry. The entire formulation is biodegradable, non-carcinogenic, and completely safe for surrounding grass and shrubs under normal application guidelines.
